Matt Green (of Wrixon|Designs) is a math teacher at Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane Washington and has hobbied with web design for the past five or so years. This school year (2007-08) Matt decided to create a classroom website for himself this year that would be as attractive visually as he could make it. We think he succeeded. Each of the sections of this site offers original layouts by Matt. The entire site makes use of some incredible fractals that Matt found online created by Roger Johnston© (used with permission). Matt uses the Gradekeeper program for his classes and has used the javascript created by Gradekeeper and worked it seamlessly into his site. The .grades button triggers a javascript popup box where students can enter their name and student ID number to view their current progress. The .calendar section uses the same fractals as are on the .main page but in higher resolution. If you play around a bit at Matt's site you will notice that the .main page and .calendar page seem to change each time you visit. This effect was created by a simple javascript function that chooses the background image (in this case one of Roger Johnston's fractals) at random from a group of about ten choices.
